And now we're out two LB's. Seriously, lets just play the young guys like Jalen Graham and Dashaun White play. I hope they don't bring in a washed up veteran to close out the season.

Sorry I meant though the course of the current season, not necessarily just this game. Like I remember off the top of my head winters getting great depth on his zone and pretty much breaking up a pass for dk Metcalf. It's like why hasn't he gotten more chances this season than Campbell, is it because hes like Jimmy g in practice?

Not sure about his contract details... but wouldn't it hurt his wallet more to be suspended than to outright release him? Is this what we are maybe doing here?

Probably not worth the fight with the NFLPA that will result.

Not sure about his contract details... but wouldn't it hurt his wallet more to be suspended than to outright release him? Is this what we are maybe doing here?

Probably not worth the fight with the NFLPA that will result.

He is guaranteed $2,2M this season. We take a $1.2M cap hit if we cut him. With better than $60M in cap space, I don't think the money matters.

I'm sure he was disappointed to lose his starting gig to Greenlaw. He worked hard to learn a new system and was improving, albeit from a low starting level. Still, his actions last night cannot be tolerated. He knew he knew when he signed there was the possibility of an All-Pro-level player coming back. No excuse for his actions. He will have a hard time finding another gig now.

I imagine tht's one of the thungs the 49ers are looking into. If a player walks out on the team can they dock him more than just one game check. Essentilly he quit so that may void the contract.

One can be suspended for conduct detrimental to the team up to 4 games.
