Quitter De'Vondre Campbell-Softer than a bag of marshmallows

Shop 49ers game tickets
I almost moved this thread to the Parking Lot, as I don't think this guy gets another chance in the NFL. And serves him right.

This guy quit on his team last year too

Whats the story with this?
earlier in the week i searched on his injury history and found this, didn't really think of it until yesterday happened..

A day later, Campbell posted: "Not going out my way anymore and I'm not playing through injuries anymore cause when s--- goes wrong they always use it against you. I'm treating everyone accordingly and giving them the same energy they giving me.

That's exactly the type of effort we got from him this year - not going out his way to make a f**king play. Huge FA mistake. Easily worst FA signing of the past decade.

This was my initial thought as it was premeditated by his own tweet.

cutting him is too easy. Dude lost it for the team on several blown assignments now that I recalled.

f**k that POS like he f**ked us!

"Under the CBA, willful refusal to play constitutes a forfeitable breach. That allows the 49ers to recover 25 percent of his $3.35 million signing bonus.
It works out to $837,500, the direct price of refusing to play. Throw in the fine for a one-game suspension (if the 49ers do that), and Campbell loses more than $1.4 million of his $5 million compensation for 2024."

Not bad. Wouldn't you love to get about 75% of your annual pay by quitting.
Is he black balled yet.

Deebo had the worst game of his career, but what this guy did was so much worse.
