He's probably more of a run down backer and will get taken off the field in nickel packages.
So you have him slotted as the 3rd LBer? Because the top two stay on the field in nickel.
You don't necessarily have to have two linebackers out there. You could have another safety playing down in the box in the linebacker spot. Or just a better coverage linebacker. Maybe one of the young guys steps up and fills that coverage roll.
Well that's what most teams do in nickel, use two LBs. You have no clue if Sorensen will use a third safety in his nickel package. I wouldn't assume that since it's unorthodox.
Im not telling you what's going to happen. I was answering your question which you tried to set me up for an argument. You have no clue either. So get a clue
I'm not the one assuming that Campbell gets taken off the field. You're the one saying he's a run stuffer and would get taken off the field in passing downs. Just scroll up and you'll see your post.
Yeah I think he may get taken off the field on 3rd downs but who knows. You're assuming that means I think he's the 3rd linebacker. I never said that either. If he's in there on base downs that would mean I think he's LB number 2. He doesn't have to be in there every down to stay LB number 2. Formations change personnel change on down to down bases. Some downs he could be LB 2 some he could be LB 3. Come on you're better than this.
You're assuming that I'm better than this.
If he's in on base downs, that means he's one of the top 3 LBs. Right?
I think (assume) Campbell is a safety blanket in case Winters or Graham cannot win the WILL spot. If neither of them can, then that could very well mean that Campbell is the WILL.
