I was sitting around thinking about how many players have played this great game of football. With so man players I wondered how many players have earned at least one super bowl ring?

I remember hearing that including everyone that has received a ring in each organization (executives, admin, etc.), about 1700 humans have a Super Bowl ring.

What are your thoughts about how many people have a super bowl ring?

I know Kyle Shanahan doesn't have one…

Truth be told, when you think about it winning a super bowl is probably the toughest championship to win in sports.

Except if your QB is named Montana, Brady, or Mahomes.

He did win 4, so that is a little more than being carried by a running game and defense. The Steelers being the team of the 70's is somewhat stained, a lot of talk that the Steelers were one of the first teams implementing wide spread steroid use.

Hello there
It is amazing to consider how many people have received Super Bowl rings over the years. given that each winning club comprises player; coaches; staff, and even a few managers; the total quickly accumulates. While around 1700 rings have been presented to various persons inside the organizations; it is likely that less than that number belong to players alone. Given that there have been 58 Super Bowls and that rosters average 53 active players per club; the total number of players having rings is estimated to be between 2,500 and 3,000. It is a unique and important achievement that represents the peak of football performance.
