LOL. Sideline HC interviews are the most pointless thing. They're part of an old school broadcast methodology that should just be dropped at this point.

They didn't look good week 1 last year either - lost to the lions. It's also just one half - we've seen the chiefs suck in a half and drop record points in the second - so I don't think we should rush to judgement.
although Brock is going to effin dominate on Monday!!!

Lamar is starting to look like Trey Lance back there. All day in the pocket and he just runs constantly.
Time will tell if this is a Week 1 rust issue or a year long systemic issue.
Lamar looks like dogs**t out there, wow. He passes a flat throw to a wide open receiver at shoulder height that gets knocked down easily. He runs backwards away from the rush taking away the threat of the run and lobs a pass that could've been picked.
I turned it on with 4 minutes left in the half - has he really looked bad? The stats looked decent in the first half for him but that doesn't mean he's playing great, so I'm unsure.

Chiefs get to play with a different set of rules. Oline holds, that's fine. Right Tackle false starts, that's fine. DC calls a TO, that's fine. Other teams O Tackle is lining up to far back a can't stop getting called for it. Crazy

I'd be curious to see how many air yards he is passing for because every pass seems to be less than 5 yards to wide open receivers, the rest is YAC. He looks timid and can't seem to throw to receivers as or before they break the way Brock does.

I think.... if this was Trey Lance's first start....there would be legitimate calls to improve.... So yeah...if I was a ravens fan...I would be really concerned.
In fairness though, the has been crap ref-ing....or at least extremely one sided calls that have kept the Ravens from being able to run the ball to set up the pass.

If he wasn't such an insane run threat - he would be an awful passing qb. Once his legs aren't such a dynamic threat, his career is over. Just like Cams.
his running threat is what creates his passing lanes that make him able to hit. I don't think he is accurate enough to hit normal NFL throwing lanes consistently without them getting larger from his running threat

They have to talk about how great Lamar is. It's a Jeti mind trick to not talk about how lopsided the officiating has been for the Chiefs

The league favors them and has for years. It's been balantant for years now. Not Even just against us - it just happens for them in general.
theyre the most penalized team in the league on holding calls annually over the last five years but have never been called for a hold in the Super Bowl…

They look a lot like they did last year. Great defense, mediocre offense that puts up about 20 points a game. Then come the playoffs. As we all know it was good enough for them to win the super bowl last year though.

Lol he seems like the same Lamar to me. They're acting like him being a dynamic explosive runner is something he just figured out or something.
