Can't root for either of those teams for different reasons. Eagles because they have the worst fans and the biggest douche of a coach. And some unlikeable players. The Lions because they haven't paid their dues. The fans have but not that team. You don't get to win the SB in your 2nd good year. Yes I am bitter because we have been good for years and haven't gotten that SB.

Don't matter, The KC Refs winning
Amazing what a good experienced DC did for the Eagles defense. Who would of thought something like that works?
Barkley might win OPOY. Good job Giants. Hell he might get put into the MVP discussion like CMC was last season.

I prefer Detroit destroys the Eagles later. Can't stand them.
Barkley 302 total yards this game.

255 YDs 2 TD on 26 carries. 47 reciving yards.

over 300 YDS.

You let that walk out the door to your division rival. lol

And if you can't extend him, you trade him where you can control where he ends up. It's not like they were in contention for a playoff spot and needed him for that purpose. You don't let him become a free agent.
Barkley looks awesome and that offensive line is massive. Eagles are for real. Will be real competition to the Lions and Vikings.
Just a matter of time before Barkley will be hurt

or he was constantly hurt in NY because he played for a bad team, bad HC behind a bad Oline.
The Eagles are good but Hurts isn't good enough to beat Mahomes or Allen in the Super Bowl.

But the Eagles as a team is good enough to beat Buffalo or The Chiefs. I don't think any AFC team is a lock to win the upcoming Super Bowl. I'm also not sure who will come out the AFC either. KC seems more smoke and mirrors than any time in the past. I have like 5 teams in the AFC capable but there are 2 clear teams in the NFC at the moment.

Agree wholeheartedly about Philly. Plus they got their ring recently.

Detroit is a great story. That franchise has been through a lot, and it would be nice to see that both Stafford and Detroit found a way to get theirs in the current era.

With that said I agree that early success promotes arrogance, and Detroit has gotten so much early success they seem to have an aura of "we own this league" which makes them look like the bad guy.

So I'm rooting for Buffalo. A team that's been through SB heartbreak in the 90s, and a bunch of what ifs in the playoffs in recent memory. They seem like a blue collar work horse team that earns their victory every week. The best SB matchup would be Detroit v Buffalo, with Josh Allen finally hoisting that trophy…

Absolutely would have been great to see Vic Fangio back here.

Who would have thought being in the Super Bowl and being located on the wrong side of the country (Fangio was not coming to the West Coast) would negatively impact building a coaching staff?
