we need to sign that Chiefs kickers when their main kicker comes back.
There are no words for how literally f**king stupid that is. Really, hit off the damn upright and go through. How the hell does a team find more ways to win games than other teams do to lose games.

team of destiny.
It's not pretty, but Mahomes simply gets it done whenever the Chiefs need him to. With Buffalo's defense looking as vulnerable as it has and Baltimore underperforming for much of the season, I would imagine that the Chiefs will make it to the Super Bowl once more this season - barring injury to the QB, of course.
This is the Chiefs world and we are just living in it
Remember when the Seahawks used to always be pulling out some lucky rabbits foot out of their ass, the Chiefs have like 10 of those up their ass

I'm convinced there's dark magic involved. Some form of animal, possibly human sacrifice.

Just wasn't our season.

It sounds like a lazy copout, but it's true. The injuries, the personal tragedies, the holdouts, our schedule being absolutely insane, etc. Sure, the team needs to make some changes and improvements, but we didn't catch any breaks this year.

In the game against the Cardinals, on their final drive that got them the win, Kyler Murray threw a pass right at Fred Warner for what would have been a game sealing pick 6 but DeVondre Campbell (who was in front of Warner and didn't see him) knocked it away for one of the few plays he's made all year. Even when someone made a play it was at the cost of losing a bigger play. That's when I thought this year was just jinxed for whatever reason.

What will really be annoying will be if we win 9 or 10 games and miss out on the playoffs and end up with a draft pick like 18 and miss out on an impact OL or DL.

Special teams has cost us a few games imo. Pretty much every unit has been awful.

Gee another KC win by one score how lucky of them.

RIP Garrett Reid.
Watching the Chiefs now makes me understand how the rest of the legue felt watching the 49ers in the 80s. They showed a shot of Herbert sitting on the bench during that final Chiefs drive and you could read his mind. He knew the Chiefs would score. Reminded me of that SB when the 49ers went 92 yards for the winning score and Sam Wyche was helpless to stop them.

Watch Russell Wilson and the Steelers put a stop to all that this season and represent the AFC in the SB. Not sure how the NFC represenative, whomever it turns out to be, should feel about that lol.

This is one instance where I would root for the Steelers to come out of the AFC, whereas regularly I would never.

I don't want to see the Steelers win #7, but I want a Chiefs three-peat even less than that.
