Funny how just last year we were teasing the Eagles becoming irrelevant in the NFC. Now with just one free agent signing and a couple of good draft picks they're in the hunt for the #1 seed. 49ers are far from done!!!!

lot of attrition going on with the detroit D

a sleeper may be Packers. i trust the Packers air attack and HC more than Philly tbh.

as a rooting interest, easy to root for Detroit and Vikings, proud franchises with no SB wins. then you have bills on the other side. anyone but chiefs.

Agreed I don't think 9ers done, gotta hit on draft picks, retool/rethink things and get healthy
Detroit announced that Mongomery will undergo season ending surgery. Big blow for them.

And great for my Jamir Gibbs fantasy outlook
Swift up the middle on 4th and 1 is questionable once. But twice is just downright dumb
Bro Sam is gonna get himself injured. I still don't trust the guy come playoff time... but I'd hate for it to end early just because he held the ball too long for a measly 5 yard completion. Needs to know when to give up on a play or throw it out of bounds.

He may be our starting quarterback next season

Edit- although I do feel a strong arm is important for a QB, I just don't trust his decision making....especially when s**t gets bad.

The Vikings finally put together a scoring drive ...
Homie thinks he's so good he has to wear blue shades after the TD.

He's not a long term answer. His cheaper salary allows us to keep some key players in place. AND we continue the search for a true franchise quarterback, which we're likely to do anyway even if we sign Purdy.

I just don't think you pay 60m to a guy who can't play in the rain. Can you imagine if we made the SB some season and the forecast calls for rain ? We'd be losers before the game even began…

Not a dire must win game, more like a win to break the losing streak kinda' game.
A loss doesn't drop them from the Playoff Seeding, at 8-7.

The teams behind them in the standings -- the Colts & Dolphins -- sit at 6-8. Even with wins by both teams
this weekend, the Chargers would still hold the 7th playoff spot. If not, what did I miss?
