They have been tanking the last decade and still have a piss poor team. That's pretty sad.
Ho ho ho LeBron

It's amazing that the Chicago fans who love their teams have putup with this mediocrity for so many years. The Niner fans are freaking out after one bad season.

I know right!!!! And then they dismiss the past seasons, so ungrateful some of these so-called 9er fans. No wonder they call us whiners.

The NFL in all it's wisdom decidedto sell the rights to the Chritmas games to Netflix. I wonder how much they charged and if Netflix got any new subscriptions. The games were shown starting at 5:00 on ther NFL network so I doubt Netflix gained much.

The NFL is riding high and like so many other companies and individuals they think they can do just about anything and people won't care. They need to step back and consider that baseball was once the top sport. Horse racing used to be very popular. Same for boxing. All of them suffered when they got too full of themselves and fell on hard times. The same can happen to the NFL if they keep selling the rights to anyone that wants to show the games. Fans are going to get tired of having to stream several different sources or search everywhere for the games. Not to mention the cost. Many great companies were toppled by thinking they were invincible.

More egregious is that the NFL has three games on today and they are all on NFL Network.

I'd bet more NFL fans, or more people in general (who might watch an NFL game at some point), have Netflix than NFL Network.

Why would a staff who are likely all being replaced this off-season be tanking? They have future job prospects to be coaching for, same with players on that team.

I don't have Netflix. But I do have NFL Network through NFL Premium +. Which also comes with the rewind games. That used to be called NFL Rewind. But you can watch any NFL Network game live.

All this pay per view stuff is getting ridiculous. They want you on like 5, 6, 7 subscriptions and it's getting more every year. It's the money and inconvenience of all these subscriptions both. They games get enough viewers that they get money from the TV rights and TV gets the advertising dollars. I liked the old way when stuff was just on. This is getting dumb. But if people go along they will do it.

Agreed. The games should be on network TV. I only watch the games on Amazon (and now Netflix) because I already have those services.

Unless they are a part of some package I already have, I won't be paying for Peacock or pay for NFLN just to watch a game.

I don't have Peacock or Netflix. I got all the rest. Mainly I just have those. Outside of YouTube NFL Sunday Ticket which I signed up for. But I have NFL Network and Amazon Prime. But I hate, hate, hate this pay per view model and all these subscriptions. It's a terrible ripoff. Plus too many services to sign up for. You are right.
