49er fans really need to look at that play and then realize how momentum/hype/adrenalin works for/against you.

That almost describes the season for SF.

Tactically, it was the right move not to score, but that's an example of not being used to that move potentially backfiring. The injury basically cost the Bengals a chance to kick the FG with under 30 seconds left due to clock stoppage. Also Brown going out of bounds on a few plays before ended up being big as well.

Broncos never should have used the timeouts. Made no sense since a tie gets them in. Now Bengals can get the ball back.

Yeah that's a good point they probably would've had a better chance scoring that way than depending on some 30ish yard field goal. Even so there's no excuse to miss that damn kick. You know what I take that back, It's not even their regular kicker so he's even worse than Moody.
