POLL: Which city do you think would Party the Hardest if its team won the Super Bowl?

Easy answer: Buffalo because they only have 2 professional teams that haven't won anything.

Detroit on the other side has 4 professional teams that have won 20 championships so they know about winning and parades.

Hmmm very good thought. I did not look at it like that.
Were the Red Wings one (or more) of those 20 championships? (too lazy to go look it up. lol)

EDIT: So I looked it up. WOW! 11 NHL titles. Oh my!

That may be true but the NFL is king. It has much higher ratings than the NBA, NHL or MLB. Probably as high as all 3 combined.
There'd probably be snow outside

Since SB era (January 1967) Detroit has 9 titles across the big four sports teams (Red Wings 4, Pistons 3, Tigers 2, Lions 0). This goes to 22 when pre-Jan '67 is considered (Red Wings 11, Pistons 3, Tigers 4, Lions 4). If you consider the 2 NBL championships the Pistons had before joining the NBA that goes to 24.

Buffalo goes from 0 to 2 if you count the AFL titles in 1964 and 1965.

Any way you look at it (9-0, 22-0, 24-2) Detroit has had it far better.

I just thought about the cold aspect. Would they even plan a February parade? Even if they did, wouldn't they have to schedule it around a day with no snow in the forecast? Basically, would extremely cold weather temper any kind of public celebration?

Nope they wouldn't care if it was a blizzard and 20' of snow

I think you are right.
They are used to their weathers.
Is there a story behind the table breaking? Felt like I watched a Jackass flick or something lol.

I would say Vegas would party hardest but now that weed is legal in NV, Raiders fans would just smoke a few blunts and call it a day lol

Between those teams..I would go with Detroit. Eminem would start the kick off party, of course lol

Red Wings is one of the original six, I would say NHL is king up there.
"Buffalo for sure," ninersrule4 said.

Perhaps there are more things to consider. Like population.
Wiki says Buffalo has a population of 274,678 according to the latest census.
Detroit, 639,111.
Would a Detroit celebration necessarily bring out way more folks than a Buffalo one? And would that higher number necessarily Party Harder than a smaller number?
By the way, which city was it that set a new Draft Day attendance record? Was it Detroit, or Nashville?

Detroit would party even if they made it to the SB and lost given "They are the only franchise operational for the entirety of the Super Bowl era to not appear in the Super Bowl." As for Buffalo....making it to the SB four times in a row and losing all four times and never returning since has followed them for a long time. They need/want that win. The following 20 years, they have watched the other NY team (forget the Jets) Giants go to the SB 3 times (and win 2). So yeah for that fanbase, I can see it being such a huge chip off their shoulders. Plus they are already known for being somewhat insane as-is.

unrelated question: Didn't Buffalo travel to Detroit for a Buffalo home game just a short (few years) ago? Pandemic-related?
Or am I thinking of something else?
