So Chiefs fans can't talk s**t about Tampa Bay.
can't talk s**t about Philadelphia either now.

but can talk all the s**t about the 49ers. What was that tweet last night in the 4th quarter ? The only chance of the Chiefs coming back was if Kyle Shanahan was coaching the other team.

Sad

Figured there would be stupid takes like this.
Not sure why everyone was big on the eagles before the game, many people say they saw this coming , predicted this etc...

I wasn't very impressed by the Eagles regular season and playoffs

I remember the talk last year before the game, everyone had the Chiefs winning.
(And yes I think if Greenlaw didn't get hurt we probably end up winning)

Maybe it is the Shanahan effect.

No one was saying that. FYI the 49ers were up only up 3 in the 4th quarter. KC was down 34-6 against Philly entering the 4th.
I've never been impressed with Mahomes. Seen him get preferential treatment by refs. But the one thing that I have seen is that the Chiefs seem to win games by inches and football is a game of inches. Now Mahomes and company got their hats brought to them last night like never before. And Patty wasn't hurt (i.e. SB against TB and TB). So there is a formula to beat him and the Chiefs. I truly hope John, Kyle, and Saleh paid attention last night and wrote down the ingredients

So basically SB MVP is just a QB award. I think for a player from another position to win it they need to put up insane stats. Like a WR would have to have like 15 catches for 250 yards and 3 TD's. A DE would have to have to have 5 sacks and a couple forced fumbles. A CB 4 picks with a couple of them being pick sixes. etc etc

Jerry Rice won SB MVP in XXIII in Jan 1989 with 11 receptions on 15 targets, 215 yards, and 1 touchdown. Montana did not win it this time.

The last time a non QB won the super bowl MVP was 1997. So there was a time when it wasn't but I think it has become one. This game in particular the Defense was the story. Hurts played well but any competent QB would of won this game with the way the Eagles were suffocating the Chiefs. They didn't cross midfield til the third quarter

He's not wrong - those stats are impossible to defend

It all starts up front on defense. Consistent pressure with 4 guys with no blitzing. We tried to do it by getting Hargrave…didn't pan out. Hopefully we can get some help up front next year. I was surprised how little the chiefs ran the ball early in the game.

So sorry that your idols (aka Super Bowl LOSERS—the worst thing you can possibly be per your words, not mine) Mahomes and Reid got their pants pulled down and destroyed so badly last night that you need to pivot to ridiculous narratives like this one.

Hope you can survive the next 7 months!

It's pretty hilarious how the moment the Chiefs have refs that aren't completely biased, they get ransacked every time lol. This happened to them against Tampa too.

We win one of those Super Bowls with either last night's officiating crew or the one in the Bucs/Chiefs SB. And we probably win it easily. No doubt in my mind.

what would be harder to come back from 20-10 or 34-6?

The Eagles did what they needed to do. Get a big lead early and keep applying pressure. They forced Mahomes to drop back more than he usually does. They weren't going to go into the 4th quarter with a one score lead or less.
So, those times where I have said Mahomes is a bit overrated/hyped...not to the extent as the former "expert" was whining about constantly, which was weird lol but I have said, he has been a bit overrated. Can I get away with saying that now without getting heat? But idc if I do, dude is a bit overrated
