We have pick #11. That's something a lot of the contenders don't have. We had a massive off-year and this is where it pays off. The difference between #11 and #24 or later is a lot.
#11 with a future 2nd and another pick would be hard for the Browns to refuse.
We don't know what the Browns would want in exchange. We don't even know if they'll trade him.
Common sense says they're not going to want players. They're going to want picks. If they trade Garrett they're not going to want more salaries. The Watson contract is enough of a headache already and the only thing they can do is wait 2-3 years for it to run out. Picks is the only thing of any value to Cleveland, if they trade Garrett.
Since when did the Browns use common sense? In any case if they decide to comply with Garrett's request they may ask for too much. We don't know yet. If th Niners can get hm without giving up too much then great. If the Browns want multiple ones plus other picks then forget it.
