I love how people bring up Haynesworth like there is a chance he would come to SF. There is ZERO chance he would go to a losing team and move from DT to NT. ZERO chance, I repeat ZERO chance.

I know Gore is injured, but whats up with him the last two years? He looks nothing like he did when he ran for 1700 yards. I would say it is the offensive line, but the year he ran for all those yards a lot of them came from broken tackles. I remember him moving piles with a never say die attitude. I dont understand? What does that have to do with him not breaking tackles and falling down easier. It just doesn't seem like he is making an effort to stay up right.

Well the difference you'll see on film is Larry Allen and a healthy Jonas Jennings with FB lead-blocking. The OL was built to run and when you get Gore into space, he's hard to bring down, but you have to get him past the first set of blockers. Allen/Jennings/FB was a great combo for that. Almost always puts Gore 1-on-1 against a LB and he just needed to run through or make one person miss.
