SERIOUSLY people....you need to start looking at this pick for what it is.

Its NOT to light a fire under Vernon Davis.
Its NOT to replace Delanie Walker.
Its NOT with ANY intent on Pascoe being a starter or probably ever catching a pass in a game.

This move is 100% about losing Billy Bajema in Free Agency. In his bio his college coach calls him the best blocker he's ever coached...and thats EXACTLY what the Niners need....a second TE to RUN-BLOCK for Frank Gore and now Glen Coffee in short yardage.

This is not to say its a bad pick, I actually really like it, but lets start to be a little real about the INTENT of the pick. This guy is earmarked as a BLOCKING TE.
