So old, tired, and slow that he can't even fall down at the end of a 50 yard run without getting hurt.
best niner rb ever. Hope he plays another 5 years

Frank Gore is the MAN!
Closing in on his seventh 1000 yard season, and 230 yards away from 10,000 yards rushing, I can truly say he is one of the best Niners ever, and it is such a pleasure to watch him tote the rock week in and week out. Respect.

Frank has had a full history of making the seahawks his b***h. Maybe the coaching staff finally realizes this.
Favorite 49er all time.

Did any of you guys see that ridiculous hole Frank made where AD and Boone were sandwiched back to back and he literally peeled through them and cranked out a first down. Man, I couldn't stop smiling.

Getting through that hole was ridiculous. That was his best run of the game IMO.

That was a great run. I thought he would be stopped for no gain. I couldn't even see him in all that traffic, and he just darts through for like 15 yards. It was glorious.

He actually could have broke away from them. He was breaking away from them clearly, but then started to try and turn his head and protect the ball, and then they caught up. Frank Gore is only slow when he turns his head around. When he keeps his head forward, he has underrated speed.
But he fell at the perfect place on the field actually. It allowed us to get another first down and run the clock.

I am so glad you posted this BrianGO because I just finished watching the replay and that is EXACTLY what Frank was doing. He knew he wasn't going to finish the run. So he fell down and stayed in bounds. OMFG. What a frickin play. It looked weird on tv like he pulled a ham or something. He just knew he had to keep the clock running.

I was worried he was hurt at first but as I thought about it more and more it was such a perfect play.
He got us in a position to score no matter what. He stayed in bounds to run out the clock. He ran just far enough to get one more first down. And lastly he didn't score. That may sound crazy but hear me out.
Had he scored he would have gave the ball back to RW with like 4 minutes left on the clock. All they would have needed was to do was March into field goal range. I have faith in our D but it's still taking a chance.
The way Gore handled that was literally perfect.

Agreed. Frank knew exactly what he was doing and its why he is this teams most valuable player each and every year. How about that short run where Frank hits a slice just barely big enough to fit through and popped it for a first down. Not a long run but there are not very many guys with the patience and vision to slide through that kind of traffic. Honestly I don't know if any other RB would have found that hole. A lot of backs would have just plowed into the line and been done. There are a few guys with enough skill to make something out of it by maybe cutting outside but only Frank Gore finds that little crease that most people just don't see. He's one in a million people. He may not be the fastest guy out there but he's silky smooth and sees things other guys just don't see. He was the best running back on the field yesterday and its not even close. I don't care what the Lynch homers say.

That 51yds run was one of the same 2 long running plays back in 2011 against the Lions. Our linemen fired out into the linebacker level to block. Gore went to the left then cuts back, instead of going to the right like back in 2011.
We pulled out an old trick of using the aggressiveness of Seattle's defensive line. They basically out ran the play. Then it was just our linemen against the backers. Gore goes into the secondary for 51yds You see #89 and #75 go straight to the backers.
