Greatest running back Niner of all time.
There are three guys I'm thinking of that were greater.

Greatest Niner RB definitely. Not sure where I would rank him of all time. Jesse S. was up there for me as a lineman.

You are right, I must have mis-typed one of the numbers when calculating it. Still a decent chance he gets it next week

He only needs just over 600 yards this season to move ahead of Bettis and Tomlinson into 5th place. Should be a first ballot HOF if he hits that mark, no doubt.

"For Gore, it makes him just the sixth player in NFL history with 75 over more rushing touchdowns and 15 or more receiving touchdowns in his career. The other five players are Jim Brown, Walter Payton, LaDanian Tomlinson, Marshall Faulk, and Marcus Allen. All five are currently in the Hall of Fame."

Yeah I think he's already in considering his terrible injury history and his no-nonsense work ethic.
But if he passes those two it won't be even arguable. First ballot all the way.
