Was Frank ever called "injury probe"? He got hurt a few times but I wouldn't say that he was injury prone. Hell, he might still play another year or two and Hyde might be out of the league soon. lol

If he averages about 40 ypg the rest of the season he will move into 5th place ahead of LaDanian, Bettis and Dickerson.

Yeah it's been an ugly start for him, but he still looks the same to me. His stats should pick up once Luck and his center Ryan Kelly are back.

This has to be sarcastic. Gore never complained about the s**t teams he was on, never threw teammates under the bus, and nearly single-handedly carried a s**tty offense for quite some time.

It isn't. Haven't forgot the contract talks. He carried who? He was good enough to shine when the team was bad but he was not good enough to make the difference on a regular basis on a good squad (Harbaugh-era).

That is all you got? one breakout during a regular-season game and a run during the SB? We got plenty of battles with Seattle when Gore was invisible, remember the Conference game when Sherman intercepted a pass to Crabtree to end the game.

If we could have moved the Harbaugh era up to 2009 with Aldon, Bowman, etc....would have been guaranteed SB with Gore.

By 2011/2012 he was still very good but not transcendent like the earlier years.

Gore on a team with a proper passing game could have had an undeniable 1st ballot HoF career.
