I never understood why Gore wasn't used more in the passing game. He runs very fluid slants and his catching ability is highly under rated. He was averaging 400+ receiving yards with nearly 50 reception avg his first 6 seasons in the NFL.

Never rooted for a guy not on the Niners as much as I have for Frank the last few years... I'll be making the trip to his enshrinement weekend when it happens and I've never considered that for any other 49er before.

Sounds like Frank is gonna keep playing next year. Think he'd prefer to stay home and re-sign with Miami, but with how well he's playing this year I'm sure he will get some interest. Would love if we'd give him a look. Not sure Breida has the frame to handle a heavier workload, and McKinnon is more of a receiving back. Miami runs a good amount of outside and split zone so I don't want to hear anyone cry about scheme fit.
