Nah, Gore can run any scheme, all about pressing his crease and then exploding, that's what he does.

Granted he isn't a burner, but that's a luxury, he can do the Alfred Morris version of the offense.

Obviously hasn't got the required route skills, but McKinnon does, and who would you rather in the Redzone?

He is not capable of making outside zone runs anymore. He's still a good RB in what he does but he doesn't fit our system. You need a quick first step and the ability to receive.

The entire offense is built around the idea that the run and pass is equally possible. There's a reason why Morris is only averaging 3.3 yards a carry. When he is in the offense is predictable.

Gore is my favorite Niner. I've got a 60x40 photo of him in my Niner Cave. He does not fit this 49ers offensive scheme.
A scheme that cant adjust to the talent isnt much of a scheme.

Breida, Mostert and Wilson are averaging 5.3 YPC this year after the team lost their top RB. Clearly that scheme is working just fine.
point is, theres a place in it for frank too

No, there isn't. Imho, he has never been a shifty RB, i. e. who can cut on a dime, thus he is not a good fit for our scheme.

Not a shifty runner? Youre kidding right? Hes elite with open field jukes. If he had any speed whatsoever he would be way past emmit.

That's just wishing to have Frank back. Frank isnt the same guy at his age you remember. Theres no point in tailoring an offense around a 35 year old RB.

That's "Home" for him anyway, isn't it? I know he went to "The U", and I think he considers that to be the area where he wants to settle after Football, so it makes a lot of sense.

I'm pretty sure the U is the one in Ohio, so not home, he's playing for the Vet minimum, just wants to ball, he'll play for anyone who lets him run the ball.

Completely wrong, he's from Miami Florida, went to college in Miami, Florida and probably now wants to retire there.

Cutting within limited space is a whole lot different compared to little juke in the open field. Even the purpose of these moves is not the same.
