Time share, but Devin Singletary is expected to be the starter in name.

What an amazing and inspiring career. HOF no doubt.

Can't find a newspaper source for this, but do you guys remember hearing back in the day that when Frank was a freshman before all the injuries, Larry Coker, his coach at UM who also coached Barry Sanders at OSU, said Frank was even more naturally talented than Barry?

I don't remember that one, but I do remember him being viewed as the best on the team- as a backup. Ridiculous freshman year. I think he averaged 9 yards a carry.
The tank is going to get some more carriers, me thinks.

Frank the Tank Baby!! Still earning a starting gig in the league at 36....F-U Baalke!!!

That's just the fantasy heads speaking. Frank is better by far, in fact I don't think Sing ever projects to be a starter. Too small and slow. Ideal for a backup though.

Exactly. Baalke was the 5th Stooge (not even Shemp-worthy)
Looked back on some of the games he played in 2011, he got down real low hitting the line of scrimmage.
"When you think about retiring, you're done. You already checked out," Gore said. "I still have more shopping to do."

Like father, like son.
"It was pressure at first but now I embrace it," Gore Jr. said. "Now I'm ready for the challenge. I love having this last name. I want to keep the legacy alive."

Most of us thought he was done at 32 four years later he takes Lesean McCoy's job and hasn't missed a beat
He continues to prove why we should have never let him walk away. Hasn't Hyde now been traded to/signed with more teams than Frank since he left?

Lol those 2 inches of height difference, cmon now.

They let McCoy go cause they thought they saw enough from Singletary. Gore is 36 and not projected starter.

Time will be split yes, but their focus is on Singletary.

Ya everything that i read says that Gore is the backup. This has nothing to do with fantasy football.

Yikes. Frank has 3 and Hyde will now have 4.

Come on guys, if you are real Niner fans you should know better. Did you guys even bother to look at the stats or just reading the hype on Singletary? He only averaged 3.5 YPC in preseason against backups, Gore averaged 6.4 YPC and did most of his work against the loaded Lions DL anchored by Snacks Harrison.

Look I think Sing will be a solid backup as a pro because he's got great vision and is very slippery, but the amount of hype is hilarious for an undersized, slow 3rd round rook in a terrible RB draft class that averaged 3.5 YPC in preseason.
