It would be soo sweet if they beat the Patriots this week.

Same. Buffalo, Cleveland, and then the Texans. All three of those fanbases have suffered a lot of losing, would be cool to see them win.

Honestly I'd be fine with the Chiefs winning too... literally anyone besides the Pats again lol

I mentioned that he didn't fit Kelly's offense, but I never said thats why he was allowed to leave.

The point is, we believed Hyde was the future bellcow back, and Gore wouldn't accept a backup role. Its the right football move to let Gore go seek a starting job. You're letting personal feelings towards a fan favorite get in the way of what made sense at the time.

You're putting it on Frank? I don't remember it that way. I think he was waiting for an offer in the ballpark, and it never came.

And there's nothing sentimental about my analysis. Frank Gore wins football games. That's why he should be on our roster. And it's the only reason. Best open field runner best blocker and he shows up at game time. It was true five years ago and it's true today.

The offered a lowball one year deal. It was a complete slap in the face.

Because they knew they were going in a different direction. Any team would've done that in the same situation. You have a young RB that you think is going to be great, and a guy on the wrong side of 30. Why would they have offered him a big deal in that situation? Obviously he ended up lasting longer than maybe any RB ever, but the Niners couldn't have rolled the dice on that happening responsibly.

It was the right football move at the time. The result just didn't fall in our favor.
2 years 6M is a "big deal"? for a team soon to have $80M cap space? Your thinking is cookie cutter and doesn't apply to Frank. Any football executive with an ounce of common sense would figure out a way to put him on a roster. But there aren't too many of those.

It's Baalke we are talking about here.
I'll say it again, never seen a better inside runner. Everyone knows about his vision, but his footwork is on point every time.

I remember a quote from Marcus Lattimore:
"I've never learned so much from a human being that didn't say a word," Lattimore said of Gore. "He was one of the most prepared players that I've ever been around. I mean, we would be in walkthroughs, and everyone else is somewhat joking around and hanging out. He would be working on his footwork on inside zone, a play that he's ran over 5,000 times. He's working on his footwork. He's working on the little things."

Of course. It's obvious. To everyone but trent jed and paraag.
Just played those tweeter clips. Insane. Vision and instinct -- two qualities that do not age.
More all-22 from last year. Like the top comment says:
Watching Gore run the ball is like watching a poem being written, word by word.

How is he this f**king good at this age? Amazing
Bills o line ranked number 18. Decent but hardly Elite.
don't wanna jinx it. but frank hasn't lost a fumble since 2016. four total in 461 carries since then
