He also had a learning disability and scored like a 5 on the wonderlic. Always seemed like a man of a few words. But what do I know
God bless Frank...

Not sure gore as a coach would be the best idea

Yeah there was an article about it not long ago. He wants to scout RBs. I can't think of a better guy to do it.
Come on baby! 1st and Gore! Get Barry son!

I don't want to believe he's washed, but I have to admit he looks terrible lately. I've watched almost every game of his since he left, but I couldn't finish today's game because they are just running dive plays for him straight up the gut with no creativity or design in trying to get him off tackle and into some space.

Objectively, he's being used primarily in short yardage and the blocking has been pretty terrible for him. It really sucks considering the kind of blocking that Singletary is getting. The kid absolutely deserves to start over Frank now and he's alot better than I thought in the preseason, but he's also getting some amazing blocking out on the edge. Almost every game at least once he runs 15+ yds untouched on the edge. It has everything to do with playcalling because Daboll is running Singletary out of spread 11 personnel, whereas Frank is being used in condensed heavy sets with a fullback or two TEs.

I just looked at nextgen stats. After this week, Frank is 2nd (behind Teco!!) in facing stacked boxes 40.16% of the time. Singletary is dead last (or first depending how you look at it) at 1.59%. They are being used in two completely different ways and Frank is stuck playing on hard mode.

Interesting stats
If he doesn't pass Barry this week, I would fully expect him to do it the week after -- it will be awesome to watch either way.
One more yard to Pass Barry Sanders
