Congratulations Frank Gore!!!

All those yards on rebuilt knees - just incredible.

Rebuilt no doubt...Lee Rogers style ( 6 Million Dollar Man) for you youngans.
I'm surprised he is still playing to be honest. I'm also surprised he still puts up some production to keep moving up the all time RB ranks. Great for him. I'm glad to see it for him.

I'm not surprised he's playing. He seems like that kind of guy that loves the game that much. I AM surprised that he's playing this well. It's why the padding stats argument is moot and I am disgusted anytime I hear some so-called analyst bring it up. He still is having quality games in year 15. This ain't Emmitt Smith in year 15 with Arizona. Not by a long shot. Or Marshell Faulk in his final season. Gore is still a good back and would start on many teams.
Please get this man his record of consecutive seasons with 600+ rushing yards. More than likely the last game they could rest their starters anyway. He needs only 27 yards over the next two games, but they have to stop only giving him short yardage stuff.
Can't believe it but I think the end is really coming for Frank.

He's been awful since he got demoted to a short-yardage role. The playcalling/blocking has been atrocious for him, but at some point Frank needs to make a play and he hasn't been able to. He really needs to put something good on tape to close out this season or else he might not even get a chance to play next year even if he wanted to. I am 110% sure he can still play, because he was putting up over 5 ypc earlier this year when Singletary was out and Frank got to play in Buffalo's regular spread offense and not just heavy formations.

Anyhow, couple great interviews with him came out this week. One with Thurman Thomas and one with Alex Boone which was great because I've never heard Frank so comfortable in an interview and they were cutting loose, especially about Baalke.

The part on Baalke starts 5 mins in. Listen to the whole thing anyways, it's the realest interview Frank's ever done.

f**king Baalke. Frank is right, we should have had two.
You know, I am only 32 years old, been a 49er fan since 95 and I never got to see Montana play. I seen Jerry, Young and Hearst play towards the end and they definitely made me 49er fans. They were great to watch. I kept watching through the dark years when Alex and Gore came.

I have to say today, that Frank Gore is my favorite player of all time. He made watching the Nolan and Singletary years enjoyable, despite the loses. You just knew how special of a player he is.

Then during the Harbaugh Years, he was our Rock. He was still the main offensive piece.

It's amazing to see him at number 3 all time rushing. The thing I like about Gore besides his playing is he is a humble and hard working man who loves the same sport I do. If only God blessed me with Frank's work ethic and drive, I could have done some things in football.

When the team decides to retire Gores number or put him in the 49er Hall of Fame, I will be there at my first 49er game.

If you read the webzone Frank Gore, I salute you sir.
Ok, if it's a Niners v Bills Super Bowl and the Bills win would it soften the blow knowing Frank got a ring?

No, but it will be kinda bitter watching the 49ers cost him 2 rings.
It's unfortunate there's no future for him in Buffalo. Singletary is the real deal, Frank's been saying it since training camp. They also have a solid backup in Yeldon signed thru next year. I'm pretty sure Frank doesn't want to go out this way riding the bench, but I'm struggling to see what teams might be interested in bringing him in next year.

What sucks is Frank was balling out as the lead back before Singletary came back. He can definitely still play, but Buffalo relegated him to a short yardage role and it's been all downhill since.
