Damn I wish the Jets were playing at Levi's so we could give Frank a homecoming

Frank coming back for his 16th season is more impressive than Brady. RBs take a lot more hits than the QBs do and Frank's style makes it even worse. To still be playing after this long is a medical marvel given the knee injuries he had in college. I only wish he got a chance to play on more good teams. Imagine if he had played behind that Cowboy line of the 90's.

Frank just said 'f**k Brady'to the rest of the NFL. He's playing the RB position that takes all the hits, not protected like a qb. And he's still playing viable at 37

AFC East is wide open now with Brady gone and Jets finished last year strong. Also, Bell's job is very vulnerable. He was signed by the prior regime and put up terrible stats last season. I would not be surprised at all if Frank took his starting job outright. Even old ass Frankie is more explosive than Bell. I can see Gase using Bell like he did Drake in Miami, mostly as a receiver with Frank as the primary runner.

Anyone who understands football won't question whether or not Gore is worthy of the Hall of Fame. He does everything at an extremely high level and combines it with extraordinary intangibles and durability. Truly a running back's running back. It's a shame he spent the prime of his career on some of the worst teams in NFL history. Combined with him not being "flashy" enough or obnoxious or a media darling also prevented him from attaining stardom.
I will say this, though... If I had a prime Frank, there's not a running back in NFL history I would trade him for straight up.

THANK YOU!!! Great stuff. You can see baby fwankie with two good knees taken it to the house, bouncing off tacklers and finding space. Somethings dont change.

That's good stuff. Can't imagine the total yards that dude has as a RB since HS. Insane.
I still say his blooking/pass pro is so overlooked. Frank is a complete player.

ya. i don't get why he has to go to these rebuilding teams. he could be a serviceable 3rd RB, and provide the locker room leadership needed for a contending team. he would be a great fit on the Ravens for example.
A contending team has to want him. At 37 you gonna have to take what you can get. You don't see AP going to a contender.

When I looked for a video of him playing high school ball, I saw an article that said he played a game in his high school years where he ran for close to 320 yards and had six touchdowns.

I believe he still holds all the major single season records for Dade County, which apparently produces the most NFL players in the entire nation. Most people don't know or remember how good he was before all the injuries. Work ethic alone didn't get him to where he is today, he had GOAT level natural talent to begin with. But I think it's a better story of perseverance the way things worked out for him, and even Frank says the injuries taught him not take anything for granted.

Such a great career he's had. I just wish he would have gotten a ring.
