His stats were basically all career lows, but his 2020 tape still looks pretty solid to me. Not like he had a ton of running lanes this year, although 77 Mekhi Becton is a monster. Gore thrives more off of interior OL play though, and the Jets inside 3 were pretty bad. He hasn't had a halfway decent pair of guards since Iupati and Boone. If someone is still interested in signing him next year, I'd like to see him go to a top tier offense and OL. It's sad that in 16 years, he's only played on a top 10 offense ONCE.

Gore is just 15 yards away from becoming only the 4th player in NFL history to reach 20,000 career yards from scrimmage. Behind Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, and Jerry Rice.

Bring him back just for this. Get to 20k in his first game and let him retire a niner.

Frank is #3 all time. I wonder how many yards called back by penalty he has over his career? He's 2000 something behind E.Smith, It's amazing to think that he had a legit chance at the all time rushing leader record after the injuries he suffered at Miami He has had an amazing career and he's a true throw back to the all time greats!!
He will always be one of the greatest Niners

Imagine the roar of the crowd everytime Gore would run out of the tunnel of Levi's for one last season with us

As though Santa Clara will allow crowds in Levi's before 2025.

If nothing else I'd like him back just to block on passing downs. Some of the nastiest blocks I've ever seen were from #21

Agreed. He can give us more than McKinnon and Gore would have a legit shot at a playoff run.

Somewhat ironic since Jets was damn good at pass blocking this year. Jamal Adams needing surgery on his shoulder after Jet popped him on a blitz.
