Honestly a perfect storm situation for him to come back but I think Kyle has Al Davis syndrome and he looks at height weight speed guys

Would be awesome, but we'd have to have a series of catastrophic injuries for this to happen.
Shanahan seems to be set in his ways and that does not include bringing Frank the tank in.
He just isn't a fit for our scheme. Hes a power runner. The 49ers run outside zone, which requires speed.
Maybe it's time to change that considering we can't get a RB who isn't so fragile they can't even make it through a game.

Frank would turn back the clock in this system. Every great Miami back put up BY FAR their best years in outside/stretch zone, Edge, Portis and McGahee. Frank's the only one who never got a shot. Cutback lanes all day!!!

When anyone complains about Drafting players with injury history in College I think about the Great Frank Gore.
