I've never seen someone who loves this organization more than Frank Gore and I love that about him, I think we all do. I really wish Shanahan gave Gore one last chance as a player last season. And I bet he definitely would've helped the 9ers chances of getting into the Super Bowl, Hasty was horrible. Now I hope Lynch and Shanahan can find a place for him on the staff, again he can only help, I don't see any bad in bringing Gore onboard.

I want to know why Frank Gore's thread is on NFL talk instead of merged onto Niner Talk dude should of been the exception to stay on Niner Talk even if he left N played elsewhere he's a Niner for life.
Yet that quitter Willis gets to stay on Niner Talk huh? 🙄

The last 49ers running back who could actually stay healthy. The heart and soul of so many bad Niner teams back then. The lone bright spot on offense from 05-2010. Top 10 Niner of all time without question.

I feel like this guy is who we have been chasing signing all the ACL players hoping for a rebound. But there is only 1 Gore.

Frank is unquestionably the premier running back for this organization in the modern era.
You have to go back to Joe Perry and Hugh McIlhaney to discuss who is the greatest of the last century. They're all amazing contributors from what I can tell on the old grainy tape.
But Frank is one-of-a-kind football player who left his mark on the game in so many different ways. Not all of which could be measured by yards from scrimmage. Uncanny vision, timing and throttle control. Always our best jukester. If he was on the roster now, it would still be true.

was thinking the same thing. Been looking at getting his jersey for years but couldn't as he wasn't retired and was playing on other teams

When opponents talk about Frank, they start to smile, and then they cant stop. Have you seen interviews? Its true.
Everybody loves Frank. Its so heartfelt. 16000 yards dinking, dunking stiff-arming, hiding behind Staley's butt crack. turning 2 yd into 4 5 or 6. Over and over and over Survival of the Frankest.
16000 yards. Man oh man no one will do it quite like that again
