Frank is unquestionably the premier running back for this organization in the modern era.
You have to go back to Joe Perry and Hugh McIlhaney to discuss who is the greatest of the last century. They're all amazing contributors from what I can tell on the old grainy tape.
But Frank is one-of-a-kind football player who left his mark on the game in so many different ways. Not all of which could be measured by yards from scrimmage. Uncanny vision, timing and throttle control. Always our best jukester. If he was on the roster now, it would still be true.
There have been some good backs on the 49ers. Wendell Tyler, Ricky Watters, Roger Craig, Delvin Williams, but yeah, Frank Gore is a premiere running back. One of the best 49ers ever to play the game.
Lol does anyone remember back in harbaughs first year we thought we was washed up and Kendall Hunter should be the full time back? Dude is a damn monster.
Man I knew it was gonna happen but I'm so happy that Gore will be retiring as a 49er. Just wanted to share my thoughts on Gore's career as a Niner and what he meant to the Franchise. Check it out and appreciate the Webzone's support!
Where would we use him? Like RB's coach? Evaluate all RB's, FB's in the draft and FA. Then coach those guys up. What would his position with the team be? If it's the right fit I'm not opposed to it. He has passion and knowledge for the game.

Cool just to give him some honorary like official team spokesman then he gets his ring when the time comes cuz he's officially on club payroll. Get this dude a ring.
