1,161 yards, the exact amount he needs to get to 10k career yards. I'll say 6 TD's because we have more RZ options this year.

#49ers Frank Gore is sitting on 8,839 career rushing yards; said:" It'd be a blessing to get 10,000 yards this year"

I think Gore will once again prove to be a beastly workhorse for us and go for 1250 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Wow, I hope he gets it. Another 1,000 yard season from Gore will do wonders for this offense! Then again. I wouldn't mind limiting Gore during the regular season and have him come in fresher in the playoffs.

i have a feeling this will be gores best year. weve built a powerful O-Line, we have a qb who can put the fear into people through the air and is a major threat to run. Gore will prove once again that he is THE man

The 49ers offense has been based on Frank since 2006. Defenses have keyed almost exclusively on number 21 anytime they played the Niners. He ran against 8-9 man boxes for 90% of his career with hardly a threat of a passing game! Frank still managed to become the all time leading rusher for the 49ers. Now with the emergence of Kaepernick and his ability, the focus isn't on number 21. I look for this year to be; while maybe not huge statistically for Gore; extremely efficient and productive (as in YPC and touchdowns) while still being the main driving force behind this now explosive offense.
Go Niners
Go for 10,000 yards Gore!!! A true football player, and a true Niner!!!!!!! HOF

1123 yards and 7 TDs
Over 1k in yards!? That would surprise me. Hope you're right. I'm debating how high I should rank gore in my fantasy draft.
I'm predicting by mid-season, Hunter and LMJ will be eating up a lot of Gore's shares.
Gores been proving doubters like you wrong for a long time. You think at age 30 Gore is going to let anyone take carries from him!? You think with all the respect Harbs has for Frank, that he would sit him for a second year player that fumbled the Super Bowl away, or a guy coming off of a Achilles?? People like you need to check into the nut house.

I still remember when Gore was in college he played against my Seminoles and straight DESTROYED us. I was like "damn, this guy is a f**kin BEAST". I had never seen a RB as good as him to that point. It's like every rush was for at least 7 yards.
I was so happy when we drafted him. I KNEW if his knees held up he was gonna be a monster.
I want him to get to the HOF more than any current Niner. Frank is the man!
That said, I wanna wi a SB for the greatest Niner running back ever

I love Gore, but I've legitimately questioned his HOF status. I mean for running backs you have to be pretty stout.
But, if he gets to 10,000 and we win the Super Bowl this year that will put him in a very good argument company.

I've been having this argument with fitz and brooks on knbr for the last couple of seasons. They don't give him any chance to get in. Saying how devalued the running back is these days. But, if guys like cris carter are getting in I think gore has done almost enough. I agree with you, in that he will have to at least get over 10,000, but probably more like 11,000 and a championship to get in. Last season if he got the ball at the end and scored, he might have been a Super Bowl MVP. That would have helped a lot. Instead, he didn't touch the ball, even though he was the one that got him to the 5 yd line

this amounts to nothing but emotional blather on my part but last night I was bored and it was not time yet for night gallery on METV so i watched the playoff game with green bay on you tube. When i saw gore gashing the packers defense again and again and scoring his touchdown , I just could not help thinking how much i love gore and how much we will miss him when he is gone and I actually teared up a bit
i have a big heart
