dug that up from a thread in nfl talk in 2010
San Diego continues to be negative and overreact even though he has been proven wrong a million times. He just never learns.
As for sharing a staidum I really don't want to share. I don't think professional teams should have to share a stadium. Wouldn't sharing with the Giants or A's mean we have to have dirt on the field again?
Edit: Guess if they can have one in LA they can have one in Santa Clara. They will host plenty of events to get money back to pay for the stadium. Found this: "The stadium is functionally designed to create a building that can be used for a wide range of events including professional and college football, soccer, motocross, concerts, and civic events." Super bowls alone will bring in a lot of money and that's on top of 49ers selling out every game plus should be many playoff games. Who knows might have Olympics or World Cup matches. Whatever hey can host they will imo because they have a lot to pay back.
