Played at home only. We'll have a few of those but away games.

also, they're clearing out the field area in apparent prep for the installation of the sod...

Woah...did they turn on one of the Jumbotrons there?

This place has a classic, old-school sensibility with high-tech s**t galore. Very simple & to the point, but still looks f'in awesome!

True. Took me awhile to warm up to it but I eventually did and I can't wait to see the finished product. Should be awesome.
And speaking of hight tech...

Great America will be torn down & paved over...

how sick would it be if they turned it into the first NFL theme park
It's hard to believe that this is the first stadium ever built in California for the main purpose of playing professional football.

I felt the same way! it's a simple look or construction but i'm glad that they made it open and out door "Where football was meant to be played"!!!
And the more i look at the Cowboys, Cardinals & now Atlanta's new stadium design...it's kinda girly, indoors on carpet so they don't get dirty!

Same capacity, twice the footprint.

Noticed on Madden that the new stadium has some wicked shadows.
