Pretty sure the 49ers will place the proper pads on the walls with enough thickness to protect the players. The pads the bucs use on their wall was way too thin compared to how close it was to the endzone. Those things were like motel pillows, they were so thin.

Vernon didnt run into the wall at Bucs Stadium. His dumbass jumped into it at the last second, with even more momentum than if he just ran into it

Are there any rules to this, or minimum requirements?
I mean, if not, why not put the ugliest and/or most distracting patterns all over the place?
Like paint it like this over the whole locker room...
