And also, my God, I can't imagine letting the Raiders into Levi's. Honestly, I could care less about them playing there, and I could care less about 90% of the fans; but a minority of them are going to vandalize the place. They are going to write "49ers suck" on the walls. scratch Raider logo's into the seats etc.

It would be a disaster.

Its possible when the Commish says it in public. The Raiders aren't going to have a plan worked out in the near future, the NFL supports the idea and the Niners will make money from the Raiders. Don't count it out.

Meanwhile all the SBL season ticket holders will be left with high interest mortgage payments, property damage, roaches and a bigger hole in their wallets when Jed wants to powerwash, repaint and fumigate Levis to the tune of $300Mill for new seat fees to pay for future upgrades.

It's possible, I don't know how likely it is. Obviously the NFL would love for the 49ers to welcome the Raiders with open arms. Listing to Jed York speak about it in the past, he's left the possibility open but has always sounded reluctant to share the stadium.

all this is, is a ploy by the NFL and Goodell to force the Raiders into one direction or the other...

by stating publicly that the Raiders could "work out a lease" it looks like the NFL is working with the Raiders to get them into a new facility without moving the team.

Raiders ownership is privately balking at the idea of sharing a stadium with a rival that not only has building materials with the teams logo but also sits within that teams head quarters and practice facility.

The Raiders are not going to agree to pay the 49ers for use of a stadium that is clearly a 49ers stadium when they would be much better suited to build a state of art new stadium in a different City than Oakland.

I just don't think jed and the head brass are going to share long term after going through the s**t they went through to get this 49er stadium built. I also think the disdain between the fanbases could lead to raider fans vandalizing levi. It would only take a few idiots to cause real damage.

Agreed. They've worked too hard to get this thing built. Being pressured by the commissioner to share it is like a slap in the face.

This new stadium is like sacred ground. The Raiders will just leave behind a losing stench on the field that I want no part of.
