Anyone who is ok with sharing with the Raiders is agreeing to have a "black hole" in the 49ers stadium.

Also, "I couldn't care less" is not a very logical statement. If you couldn't care less, that means you don't care at all, which invalidates the word "less" in that statement.

It is most likely an implied meaning of comparison, that was abbreviated. In other words, "I could care less" is short for "I could care less... than anyone." "Could" meaning, "hypothetically". So the real meaning is, "Hypothetically, I care less than anyone else about this particular situation."

The Niners would be out of their minds if they allow to share Levi's Stadium with their crosstown rivals from Oakland. The Raiders brass is going make all these demands like covering up the entire upper deck with those hideous plastic tarps trying to avoid local tv blackout for every home game!

Nice find. I'm glad he's still up to his old tricks. I had almost forgotten about him.

That being said I, I still stand by "I could care less".

My friends try and argue that "literally" has literally been used as emphasis for hundreds of years, they are right, but, (ir)regardless of that, I think "literally" should be used literally, because there are SO MANY words already available for emphasis, it would be a such a waste to destroy the meaning of "literally" in this way.

"Very", "really", "much", "extremely", "super", "so", "such", "truly", "way", "stupendously", "seriously", "incredibly", "exceptionally", "amazingly", "ridiculously", etc, and more are all available for emphasis.

Also, I have changed my mind about "irregardless". It is a double negative, but since I have been learning Spanish, it seems double negatives can work just fine as long as you get the idea.

Usually when someone says "I could care less", they mean it as "I don't care at ALL". In this case, saying you COULD care less means that you DO care, at least a little bit.

Saying I COULDN'T care less would better represent the opinion that you don't care at ALL. Thus, there is no possible way you would be able to care any less.

Either way, 90% of the people who use that phrase say "could care less" because they don't know the difference, and pay no attention to grammar.

Does anyone know what that thing is on the field right now?

Well since the stadium is now open for business.

There was an email saying you can pretty much rent the stadium from work functions/meetings to Weddings and parties.

Maybe this is the first one ?
