idk about you but i care about the stadium that i'm paying big bucks to go to. if i'm paying to go to a technologically advanced stadium, that's what i expect to get.
plastic zip ties to secure it down, man talk about cutting corners.

Wifi issues can be fixed, no doubt. I have my doubts about traffic and parking though. The location of the stadium is inherently conducive to congestion and chaos. As a long time season ticket holder, I sincerely hope that the situation can at least be improved.

Same boat, man. I've been a long time season ticket holder but once I got my first whiff of transportation and parking issues, I outright boycotted the new stadium. I'm more than happy to return to live game action once this is squared away but the prices aren't even remotely reasonable anymore. I still think the layout is hideous but it's what it is.

I figured, after I posted that obviously, that somebody would make an income crack. I didn't expect it from you.

The reason I didn't purchase tickets this season? It's not worth the extra money to sit in a steel dump. I enjoy value, I enjoy tailgating and I enjoy being able to park within five miles of my seat.

No, this year I'll be kicking it at home in front of the big screen, posting here during game day over my fully functional wifi.

Uh...where exactly was the income crack? Cry me a freakin river.

You thought they were too expensive, correct? If so....what "crack" are you referring to.

What I think is sad is your need to denigrate the stadium to peeps who DID buy SBLs and who appear at this point to be pretty happy they did.

The heralded Wi-Fi system didn't let everyone log on.

The Wi-Fi "crashed in the press box ... and the TVs went out for a long stretch." Some ticket buyers who "had tried to use the Levi's Stadium phone app to buy parking passes before the game were unsuccessful.

ah...come on luv...you should know better than that.

I work for Brocade, the company doing the back end of the entire network. They'll get it worked out. Something not working perfectly right out of the gate does not by any means mean it won't be working. All big tech projects like this one will have kiccups and eventually they work it out and its all good.
Time to bail on this thread I think. Too many faux comedians. Do yourselves a favor, keep your day jobs.

so "everyone" didn't get to log on and "some" were unsuccessful...hardly a failure for their first ever game but OK

that should NOT happen for such a supposedly technologically advanced stadium

It ALWAYS happens when you launch a huge project like this one.

There is no way to test for having 48K people in the stands until you have 48k people in the stands.

The "test" is a soccer game that will expose the weaknesses in the network and tell the people behind the scenes where the problems are.

I think I'm allowed to voice an opinion against the shoddily constructed stadium. This is one of the league's premier teams and should have a stadium to match its legacy. Nowhere did I denigrate ticket holders.

Except Sportsfan. Not as a ticket holder so much as a Canadian with below-average stature.

Levi's stadium just needs to be be better today than they were yesterday, and better tomorrow than they were today. If Levi Stadium can get 1% better each day, then in 30 days they'll be 30% better.

It is obvious that you don't work in the IT or technology field with this comment Chit not working right, buggy software, and technological complexities are why I have a job Otherwise I would be living in a box on teh sidewalk next the Levi's OK, now I am bailing on this thread ... lol.

Of course you are. Free country.

I'm also allowed to tell you you're full of sh*t and its sad how much you need to crap on the entire project.

Works both ways homey.

Actually exactly the opposite. I AM in IT and whenever anything gets rolled out it NEVER, EVER works right out of the gate. Over time the problems will be found and solutions will be implemented, but on some level of course, there will always be stuff that breaks that keeps us employed.

We always roll out Enterprise applications and in every single instance, the crap doesn't work right and it eventually gets fixed.

Par for the course.
