Going to the Chargers preseason game. Is the entire stadium pretty much in the sun? Which side is the north or south side?

IIRC, roughly speaking the 49ers sideline is on the south side, so visiting team and stands are on the north side and will be facing the sun during afternoon games.

The 102/202/302 end is the north. 127/227/327 end is the south. 1 pm games will pretty much be in the sun all game.

Thanks, man. Will be putting on the sun block. You going to the Broncos game? Will definitely be asking which parking lots would be worth paying for.

Any of the Open Flame Tailgating would be worth paying for. I have Red Lot 6 which is extremely close, can't BBQ...but can drink tons of beer!

I'm in Section 130, we thought it would be nice to have no upper section behind/above us, but that just means the sun will be shining on us from behind.

Perspective: McCartney's Candlestick show & Levi's opener both had 49k fans. Peak traffic delays were 3+ hours at Stick & 1.5 hrs at Levi's.

I'm thinking about going with the Blue Lot 1 (cheapest). Most likely, we will be getting food to go, eating that in the Lot and drinking beer.

Not really...anyone in the second deck of the home sideline will likely be in shadow most f the game and at the very least have the sun behind them instead of in their eyes.

I think Stoney is right. The field spans north and south. Looks like everyone will be getting the Sun at 1pm.
