The expensive ones of course, namely the suites

Green roof = heat stroke

Home sideline.

I'm in 235 and I was in the shade from about 12:30 on. My section and the sections closest to me were the first in the shade, flowed by the club seats on the home side and then the north seats attached to the suite tower.

This wasn't accidental BTW...I knew where the sun was going to be before I requested my preferred seats for relocation.

BS.

All seats on the home sideline will be in the shade sometime during the game. The higher up you are, the sooner you will get the shade. The tower is pretty good for that purpose.

Me too.

I was in the shade starting at 12:30 so was good during the game....

...but I walked 1.3 miles to and from the stadium and was in my seat at about 11:15...so I baked pretty good. I'll need a hat and sunscreen.
Opening day giveaway...just imagine the outer portion in Scarlet with enough room for a sizeable 49er logo

All you guys are overreacting. Once September get's here and fall hits, the temps will dip back down.
If 78 degree day weather was a serious health risk to the majority then people would be dying at baseball games daily throughout the country all summer.

The 49ers' new stadium is probably the future of concessions:

Club seats...we're in C236, at start of game we were barely in the shade, but as game went on and sun moved* behind the towers, shade covered our entire section and seemed most of the home side.

One of the reasons I did not take the tickets they allotted me was that they were on visitor's side towards south end of the stadium and I did not want the sun in my face all game long.

(*yes I know the sun didn't really "move")

Fall doesn't go into effect until late-Oct and sometimes not until November...two home games in Oct but both are 5:30 start times so heat/sun won't be much of an issue. Home game with 1:00 start on Nov 2nd, wouldn't be surprised if it's pretty warm that day, hope not though, love those games with some chill in the air, sooner the better.

The Sun does move relative to the galaxy and universe.
