Stayed last night (and tonight) at this hilton next door. How damn convenient is this place! Chillin in my bed looking out at the stadium- fridge full of booze, fixing to watch some morning ball, no parking or driving worries cause I'm bout to stumble across the parking lot to the stadium and back when it's over!
Expensive as Phuq tho- I justified this one as being a special occasion, being our home and stadium opener

Just checked in at Hyatt. Room has great view of stadium. Looks like a five minute walk to game.

its not paint. Theyve had the tarp on the field since the soccer game ended. The grass is actual that green and lush, believe it or not.

The stadium is not loud at all. Harbaugh kept signaling for fans to get louder but it's clear the acoustics of the new stadium are not going to result in deafening noise like we had hoped.
Also noticed quite a few fans that didn't realize your supposed to be quiet when Niners offense lines up and make noise when the opponents offense is on the field.

Took me an hour and 20 minutes to get home. I'm 20 minutes away. The freeways are wide open and clear but you can't get to them. There were just people sitting forever trying to just leave the lots, let alone get to the freeway entrances.
It didn't seem too loud to me inside, either. There were tons of fans not getting loud at all, though. I was the loudest person in my section and tried to get people to stand up and cheer, but they just looked at me like "what's is this fellow so excited about?"
