There is nothing wrong with it lol.

The entire stadiums speaker system is behind that part of the screen. The part that looks messed up is like a video sheet that let's the sound pass through it, but it still can display video. I think I read that all the speakers were put on that side of the stadium so that the sound wasn't being directed into the residential areas to the south.
Oh ok, so that explains it. You would think with the cost of the stadium being so high, the stadium being touted as the most technology advanced and the screens being a major selling point, they could've found a different solution for the speakers rather than screwing up 1/3 of the whole video screen. It's somewhat annoying watching replays when they use that portion of the screen. I usually watch the other screen but I am slightly closer to the one with the speakers.

BTW, not really a complaint but an observation.
Does the stadium has pyrotechnics like financial lincoln field does at the beginning of games?

yes, and fireworks after a win
Question for everyone - I'm looking at heading to the Redskins game. I've been considering the SRO + Red Zone Pre-Game Tickets --- has anyone done this? What is the Red Zone Pre-Game Party like? Our thought (as a small group) is that we can move around and find seats here and there to sit for a bit during the game and save the money for beer. What does everyone think about this? Is the SRO sections pretty nice or do you have to fight with people just to get a view?

Thanks guys!

There are lot of places to stand all over the stadium with excellent views of the field. You will not have to fight with people to get a view.

Cal plays Oregon tonight at Levi's. Wonder how much they're going to tear up the field.

Yeah it will probably be so bad that they'll have to postpone next weekends game
I don't understand why they can have a Friday night college football game but the Niners cant host a a MNF game

Might have something to do with it being a friday night. Some businesses leave early on fridays. The game probably isn't sold out, as well as the suites aren't full. So a lot less traffic than a 49ers game.

I'm starting to think the field might suffer a little from this game, as there is a lot of paint on the field for Cal. They have the big Cal logo at midfield, the Pac 12 logo on the 20's, and the entire endzones are painted blue. Hopefully they're using some sort of easy off paint for all this, but I don't know if that's actually a thing. lol
