They put extra mics by the student sections because of the bands, so it just seems louder.

I'm starting to think the field might suffer a little from this game, as there is a lot of paint on the field for Cal. They have the big Cal logo at midfield, the Pac 12 logo on the 20's, and the entire endzones are painted blue. Hopefully they're using some sort of easy off paint for all this, but I don't know if that's actually a thing. lol
The grass will probably grow enough in the next week that all the paint will be mowed away. (or most of it)

Just about anywhere is a good view. The entire lower bowl at the top of the seating is a good view. The plazas on the 3rd deck are popular. Probably be good to walk around and get a few different perspectives.
