Made my first trip this past week and the PA guy definitely had a rough game. He got players mixed up and had trouble with down and distance. It was also not loud at all. Makes me almost happy that if we get in the playoffs we will be a 5 or a 6 seed because we have always been a good road team. I also saw how flat the team looked during intros and the beginning of the game and I wonder if the low key crowd had something to do with it. Teams usually feed off the energy of the crowd and there was none of that

Candlestick had the same complaint..fans too quite or too loud on offense...and the players still performed well at the Stick

Seeing our stupid bandwagon fans getting loud during our offensive huddle was enough to make me puke. Seeing Robert Quinn raising his hands in the hair and smiling, signaling the 'crowd noise' gesture... man, that pissed me off more than the entire game itself.
Then I look... and it's the 4th quarter, we're still in the game... and there's empty seats. This stadium f**king sucks, I know this crap 'could' change, but everything about this season resonates with that soul-less piece of s**t in Santa Clara. There is no magic/history yet, so it's just a 'stadium' right now, and nothing more.

This
Upon re-watching the game, the shot of Quinn laughing and pumping up the crowd really stood out

Lolz such a shame. Stoopid money grubbin Yorks. Eddie D. probably wanted to AP the s**t out of Jed.
Besides "money" were there any other reasons for not building a new stadium at Hunter's Point while we played for a year or two at Stanford or Oakland?

If I had control of the big board when that was happening, I'd tell the crowd: STFU YOU STOOPID FAKE FANS.

Because candlestick point is an infrastructure nightmare. It would have cost $2-3 billion just to fix it. That's not including he stadium. Who was gonna pay for that?
Stanford doesn't meet the nfl minimum seating requirement anymore. And play in Oakland? Hellz nah! lol

Can you imagine if we go into a rebuilding mode in the future what the stadium will look like? Will make pro player stadium look like cameron indoor

I think the stadium would actually fill up more. Tickets would be sold at face value to people that actually would go to see the 49ers.

home crowd at Levi's just got called out on First take this morning. Having been to multiple home games this year and at Candlestick, I couldn't agree more. It's been said in this thread before, there's no vibe in the stadium.
It's like "hey look, there happens to be a football game over there"

Dont worry, the real fans will come back once the team tanks for a couple of seasons. Hopefully, that doesn't happen before a couple of Superbowls, but eventually it will happen. Right now, the stadium is souless. I knew it was a bad omen when we lost the home opener.

I hear that it will be loud if it is not quiet.
