For anyone that attended the game, was Levi's rocking last night? Sounded loud just watching the game.

That was the loudest stadium I've ever been too where I was sitting (10 yard line home side lower bowl). The decibel level was off the charts. I've been a ST holder since 05 and that was by far the loudest game. Felt like an airport runway out there.

They told us Levi's was designed to be super loud due to the amount of lower bowl seats and the sounds reflecting off the suite tower. I didn't really believe it until last night! My voice is pretty much gone today.
I was up near the nosebleeds at around the 20 yard line and it was the loudest 49ers game I've been to outside of the 49ers/Saints 2011 Divisional playoff game.

Even in the open air section, it was LOUD and everyone was making noise. I still absolutely hate Levi's in terms of overall environment, location, and design though.

The tailgate is nothing like Candlestick, the clientele aren't, everything...a weird, sterile place. But it was loud yesterday. That's something.
Told you all the crowd/stadium simply needed a good team to get behind and the atmosphere would be there.

They need to sustain this competitive team for a few years, though, for it to remain. And they need a big win in the playoffs or against a good Seahawks team like the one they just lost to. Until then Levi's will not be 100% home.

But even then, the overall experience just absolutely sucks. A TON of trashy people attending; obnoxious wanna be thugs; corny macbook DJ's playing bad music under their tailgate tent; pain in the ass logistics to get there. Candlestick games felt like how attending a football game should feel.

I can't be the only one who thinks this stadium is utter s**t through and through. I've given it plenty of chances and each time I wonder why I went, so I just gotta stop going. That's on me.
Candlestick had PLENTY of "trashy people" and "obnoxious wanna be thugs". In the mid-00s there were literal gang turf wars being fought in the stands in the pre-season.

And don't get me started on Candlestick's "amenities". The place was a relic of the 1950s, designed for baseball first.

The history made it special, not much else.

Sure there was still that contingent but it seems like even more of the fans that made Candlestick special have just been relegated to their couch now.

While I understand that many do, I don't go to a stadium for their amenities or concessions, I go to see a live football game with fans. When I used to visit Candlestick from the East Coast...even in the down years of 2006-2010...I always loved the vibe and could actively walk around and find cool, real fans, to join the tailgate and shoot the s**t with.

Levi's just doesn't have that. And whatever we diverge on, can't we all agree that Santa Clara is the f**king worst?

Was the loudest it has ever been easily. Louder than the National Championship (which I think was the loudest until last night) it was an awesome sight

I posted this earlier in this thread but wanted to bring it up again. I went on a Levi's school field trip with my 8 year old. They sat about 60 kids and the adult chaparrones on the suite side of the lower bowl. They had us yell towards the opposite side. The echo was very noticeable coming back so I think with 60K+ people, the stadium can get loud and it is indeed built to accent the crowd noise.

I'm 100% in agreement with you on Levi's. The tailgating experience is nothing like Candlestick because everyone is spread out. I hope getting rid of that golf course will help, but not expecting that for a good 5-10 years.

The atmosphere seems to be improving. I think it cool that we the fans are repeating the players names during the intros. We need more stuff like this to get fans behind the team during the game. ie: Denver when they say INCOMPLETE

I might be one of the few that hates that Ahoo Ahoo Ahoo chant on first downs. I think we should have something better and it should be on Defense to make the fans loud. Not make the fans loud on offense. Plus the Ahoo Ahoo Ahoo is in reference to the movie 300 and spartans and not the gold rush or 49ers.

I did notice some improvements on the food vendors being positioned on the outside of the main concourse. It has always been a cluster F when trying to move around the main concourse with all the food lines blocking everything.

I can't stand the idiotic ahoo ahoo chant. Hated it since day 1 in 2012

Probably because they had to readjust the pricing of the seats due to demand since the first SBL pricing. They couldn't adjust the SBL's, so they compensated with the tix. The upper nosebleeds lucked out in this case (no change or price reduction).
