I'll be attending my first game at Levi's and no better way than it being the very first and not last playoff game...That being said I'd like to hear from some of the zoners in here regarding tailgating. Is the green lot 1 really the best section since it is right next to the stadium?

What other lots are good? Is there any difference because there certainly is in price. Thanks in advance

Green lot 1 is pricey, but it is the best lot for tailgating. Blue lot 1 is simply too far imo. Green lot 1 has a great atmosphere and getting in and out is a breeze compared to blue lot.

I think the only downside is the way the team/city of Santa Clara enforce the 3 hour and 55 minute window for tailgating. The gates don't open up as early as they should imo.

Blue 1 lot is 300 yards from green lot. lol

Anyone know when we can start tailgating AND is there a webzine tailgate group? Thanks

Blue lots should open up 4 hrs before. I would assume

I personally always go to blue lot 1. Great atmosphere and cheaper. The walk never bothered me....just bring a full beer with you for the walk
Al Guido confirmed the end zones will be red. There is a video on the web zones main page as well.

Just saw that parking lots don't open until 10:35. That's gotta be a typo right? For 1:25 games the gates open at 9:55 and most of the time they would open 20 mins earlier because the traffic is so backed up

Blue lots opening up at 9:30, with people lined up at 9

$200 for just the parking. Not including game tickets, food, drinks, and souvenirs. Wow. I paid $100 one time for Rose Bowl parking in Pasadena on the golf course. I thought that was a terrible ripoff.

One thing I have learned this year is they are always wrong about gate open times. People get there early and lines begin. Which causes major backups so they have to let people in.
9:35 .... book it for a 9 am open. We're leaving at 9 as it only take 25 minutes to navigate down there.

It's been consistent this year too

Yup I'll be in line by 8:30 regardless
Listened to Al Quido and it sounds they will be trying some soccer style chants during the game. I think this is a great idea and please get rid of the ahoo ahoo ahoo chant. I know this started in Candlestick but I've always hated it. Plus the Titans do the same chant on first downs, so its not original.
