As we near training camp, I'm hoping that more players get vaccinated. I saw that 7 teams have 85% fully vaccinated. The Niners still have a ways to go.
I really don't understand why these guys would risk not only their health but the season. Are they really willing to risk spreading this virus to a teammate who would then possibly miss a game or two? What are they afraid of? They stick needles in these guys all the time to kill pain. Some of them are injecting steroids or some PED to stay in the league. Those pain killers are known to cause long term side effects but they still take them. I don't blame the NFL for getting strict about getting vaccinated. Those empty seats cost the teams a lot of money last year. We don't need to go thru that again.

They need to finish it off and add some green windows. I love that look.

It's really nice inside. It has great site lines and large clubs for all fans. I know it's hot in the early season games for people on the sunny side but there isn't much they can do about that.

As for the sun, The sun cooked my ass way too many times at candlestick. it's the reason i moved my seats away from the north and east side to the south side where there is more shade

I know it's nice once you go inside, I'm talking about how it looks from the outside. It looks like it's not finished - there's nothing but beams that they can finish off by covering them up with windows or something.

Yeah, it's like they skimped on the budget.

Yup. Tailgating sucks too. They used the design from 1997. Lol

It's an easy fix - but, Jed's too cheap to do it.

Good points. I sat on the Niners side of the field on the lower level under the overhang so weather was never an issue for me at the Stick. I used to look across at the people in the upper deck on sunny days and see them trying to shield their eyes from the glare. Unlike the Stick there ar eno poles blocking your view. They couldn't even sell tickets in one section because the rollout seats blocked th field. The concourses were extremely cramped and of course the restrooms were an abomination.

I'm sure every new stadium has it's good points and bad ones. The new stadium in LA looks awesome but I'm sure some fans have found issues with it. Levis doesn't look near as nice especially from the outside bit it cost less than 1/5 as much. In theory, every new stadium should be an improvement since it can borrow the best things from existing facilities and eliminate the bad stuff. Plus the technology is always changing.
Just be happy they didn't relocate to another state like the Raiders did.
