Member services are pretty s**tty. I emailed them over a month ago because I had a question about my season tickets and I have yet to get a response. Just tried calling and I was on hold for over 5 minutes only to be told by a prerecorded message that no one is available to answer my call and to send them an email. Whatever happened to being assigned to a specific ticket rep? Seems like they're not doing that anymore

Don't forget that Levi's was paid for with private funding since the public will never pay for a new stadium in California. Actually they do in an indirect way with personal seat licenses. The cost was about $1 billion compared to about $6 billion for the Rams stadium. The Raiders paid $2 billion for theirs in an area where property is much cheaper.
You can't forget how long the Niners tried to find a suitable place in SF with no success. Every possible site or deal met pitfalls of some type. SC was the last resort without leaving the state and the space available was limited as were the funds. They didn't put much effort into the exterior. Instead they used their limited funding for technology and interior comfort. Other than the sun issue they accomplished that.
As far as the airport and flightpath are concerned, that airport should be relocated. Back when it was built there wasn't anything around it but there are way too many people and corporations around it now. It's one crash away from a huge disaster. They moved a small private airport a few years ago and they need to consider doing the same with SJ. It's too busy to be located in a populated area like that. Too bad they can't move to the south end of the bay but that's already built up.

Agree with most of this. SC seemed to be the last resort to stay in Northern California. In addition to the option of leaving the state, there was a lot of noise here in the Bay Area about the team possibly moving down to the LA area (no teams at that time). That would have sucked but I guess at least they would have still been in California.
As for the sun, yes, it would have been great if they could have found a solution during construction to block it out some on the sunny side. That said, I've sat on that sunny side many times...yes, it gets hot but we're in California and, if you've lived here long enough, you know it gets hot here through Sept. & sometimes through most of Oct. I'm used to football in the hot sun during the late summer & fall part of football season. Would much rather have that than other parts of the country where it can get very cold or just crappy weather during that time of the year.

I agree that sitting in the stands in GB or or Chicago wouldn't be a fun experience during about half the season. Early season games can be hot in places like KC, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville and Miami. Colleges all over the country start games in late August/early Sept. and fans probably roast. Even here in Oregon it can be pretty hot for the first couple of games. Fans will go to games no matter what the weather.

Well the food buying experience was a mess at levi's saturday. Looks like everything will need to be done on the app after you scan the QR code and you just pick up your food when its ready. The text system didn't work to notify you when your food was ready and you had to keep lookin at screens for your order number. There was also a glitch where it would try and charge you when it should have been free. I had to talk to someone and enter a promo code to bypass. I hope they work out the kinks before the season starts. You had people waiting in line for no reason and then people waiting in line for their food. It was a hot mess. I can already see this is going to fail because I hardly get good cell reception when there are 60k people in a stadium.

i've learned before satuday from other venues, if it's taking too long just go up and ask. especially when no one is picking up their orders

Heard San Jose is enforcing proof of vaccination at events. See below link.
I am a season ticket holder and was wondering did anyone get an email from the 49ers on this vaccination rule?
Also has it already taken into effect? I saw one site say Oct 1st while the below site said Monday.
I'm wondering cause I have family out of state coming for a couple games (Colts game) and want to make sure they bring their vaccination card if true. I also want to know if this means this Sunday night, I have to bring my vaccination card.

I'm curious about this as well. We'll be flying in for the Colts game.

I don't think so as I received an email for a concert I am going to at Mountain Winery about providing proof of vaccination & this venue is outdoors.

So just to be safe, why not just bring the cards no matter what and you'll all be good?
