There's really nothing like walking into the men's bathroom and find two inches of 'water' covering the floor. Oh, and the mud was always so much fun too! Let's not forget the wonderful snacks that were available to the fans. So much to appreciate. Now Levis Stadium really can't compare to that because, well, it's a turd, as expressed by the great fans of this professional team. I suppose that the fans who feel Levis is a trash building should begin a campaign to build another stadium that is more in line with their particular wants. We are getting a Super Bowl and all some here want to do is complain. That's why they are called the forty whiner fans.

TBPH after seeing Levi's, I would've preferred the Niners did what the Packers did. Just invest a lot of money into Candlestick and revamp it. One, it would stay in San Francisco. Two, I'm sure technology could help with the wet field.

I wonder if that is now happening: Does $150M help with the heat issue?

I've never been to Levi Stadium. (The price of the seat license and the commute time from where I live just would not work.) However, I had season tickets on the sunny side of Candlestick up until Levi was completed. Even with the relatively cool days at the Stick, there were times when it was just too hot to enjoy the game. So, while that was not the main reason I never invested in Levi, I can empathize with those on the sunny side. The stadium design is not only lacking in eye appeal, it was a poor choice considering those fall days.

With the multiple cameras placed around NFL stadiums today which give great viewing angles, unless the in-person experience is pretty special, it is hard to justify the cost when you come home from a game looking like a lobster baked in the sun.

Levis certainly isn't the only place where fans have to deal with early season heat. Any outdoor stadium is subject to the same weather. Denver and KC both get hot early in the season. KC is much worse than Santa Clara.

Levis may not be as nice as SoFi in LA or the new one in LV but it didn't cost as much either. The Niner's owners are wealthy but not nearly as rich as the Rams/Chargers. Davis got a lot more help building their stadium because he relocated there and got more aid from the league.

Just be happy they stayed in the Bay Area unlike that other team.

candlestick was a dump, and compared to the new stadiums, levi's is a turd.

there is no coverage for fans which is my biggest complaint. aesthetically its whatever. going for a euro soccer style stadium would have been ideal.

best thing about levi's is that its very easy via transit

It's the location not the stadium itself. I would have preferred SF with an open end like the Hags stadium with a beautiful view of the city. They could have built were the Warriors are. It would have been awesome.

Santa Clara a snooze fest. Oh well it's where we are.

SF voted against a new stadium at the time. Plus I don't think hunters point and zombie land offers a better experience than SC/SJ

It's an OUTDOOR stadium, what coverage are you expecting lol?

Levi is 10 years old and is in the most sought after land to be on. Any new stadium anywhere would double if you built it in the Bay Area.

Also SoFi created humidity due to the greenhouse. Jax already has humiidty .. thats not going to work well
