Thank you for the information, it was very interesting.
I really don't think it's pertinent to force Crabtree into anything, especially with our improved corp of receivers.

I hope there won't be a problem with getting Michael Crabtree signed to a contract. Oakland kind of worries me because I'm sure they will overpay for DHB! What if Crabtree holds out for more money? After all, he did put up WAAAY better numbers in college!
this
Then coach sing will make him sit out until he wants to play. Sing isn't going to tolerate that kind of insubordination. We want winners remember.

I would imagine since He was Our first round pick and will be getting top 10 $$, that SF has been paying very close attention to Crabtrees Foot and what he is doing with it. It has been a smart move on the Teams part to have held him out of Team activities. They want to give him the best chance to be totally healthy for training camp.

I suppose from browsing the medical info that the reason the Niners have been extra, extra long with the Crabtree rehab is that his Jones fracture on his 5th metatarsal is a slow healing kind of break. It is slow healing because the doctors say that the long outside bone in cure receives a relatively low level of blood supply.
Hope that the extra caution on running will result in a total cure and no re-fracture. Go Crabs!
dito I would hate to see him hurt himself especially after all the money we will give him
hes seems to play through injury it is reported that he had this injury during some of his games in his sophmore year and he seemed to play through them i think he'll be fine

What procedure did he have done? I think he might've had an O.R.I.F. of a navicular stress fracture but I'm not sure.
