I know it's "just a pre-season game", but I feel like this one is going to set the tempo for the season and the Singletary era, and is therefore a must win.

Anybody else feel like that?

To me it doesn't matter if we win or lose. Preseason is all about seeing improvement in the individual players and I believe we will see a lot of that. But then again it would be nice to embarrass Nolan a little bit. I would like to see Smith carve the field up and after the game run over to Nolan’s locker room and give them the Game Ball...

Its preseason so im just looking forward to getting a glimpse at what the 49ers can bring to the table this season, I hope to see a solid start from our starting offense and defensive units, and then see what kind of depth we wil have when the younger guys take the field. It will be good just to see some football again, especailly 49er Football.
