In other news Michael Jackson died and Men walked on the Moon! ;)
Don't know how you missed that when it happened.
And yes...they've steamrolled past us since.

We play at their house...I'm excited for this season but unless peyton manning is out of the game I don't see us beating them there.

I'm going to that game...

I think the 49ers may have a better shot in that game because of where it is on the schedule. By November 1st I'm pretty sure that this team will have settled in at that point.

It would be nice if we could cause a couple more rants like that this year. It's been too long since we have really embarrased a "good" team. We got spoiled by doing it on a fairly regular basis in the 80's and 90's.

I guess it's in the homerism in me but i reckon we have a shot at beating every team this season. That shot may be small though!

Uhhh.. It's in week 8 and by that time last year Peyton Manning had "settled in" and if they look anything like they did at that time last year, we will get pummeled.

The Colts were not a "good" team that year. They were fading fast by that point in the season. JJ Stokes had a good day against them (a touchdown).
Here's a fun read: Colts Eat it Big
But I agree. We need to make some "other Singletary's" this year.

I've always been proud of that fact. Ahmed Plummer of all people had a huge game that day, with two INTs. Manning threw 4 picks.

I remember that! John Engleberger had a nice blindside sack that you rarely see on Manning, which knocked the ball loose.
